Recent car journeys in the past year haven’t been dominated by soaring classical music or stimulating intellectual podcasts, but Disney soundtracks that are tailor-made to placate little ones. Tarzan is a film I've never watched but I now know the flagship track, You’ll be in my Heart. Very well. I loved the recent tweet and meme which went viral parodying Phil Collins being commissioned to write the soundtrack:
But perhaps Phil has a point. It was revealed this week that the late Dame Deborah James, aka Bowelbabe, told us:
‘I think it's a really stark reminder of don't leave things unsaid on a daily basis. It's quite amazing how much you wish just for another sunset or another cuddle or whatever it is. You can't leave things until tomorrow, because there just might not be a tomorrow.’
Bear Grylls has also recently shared similar advice. And it’s actually ancient wisdom too. It’s as if the apostle Paul also was sharing the same advice to repressed Brits some two thousand years ago in Philippians 1:
